Solutions Consultant, SMB
The Solution Consultant (“SC”) is a pivotal member of the sales team, supporting our Small and Medium Business Team and is vital to the success of the sales process and ultimately of our clients themselves. The SC is highly specialised and possesses extensive knowledge of talent management subject matter, the Company’s market-leading solutions, our business, our clients and our competitors. The SC’s primary responsibility is to effectively demonstrate how the Company solution will meet clients’ needs and achieve stated business objectives.

The SC works in partnership with the Sales Executive and other supporting team members to differentiate the Company by listening to clients, establishing trust and credibility, and challenging them to think differently about talent management. The SC will uniquely position the Company as the “partner-of-choice” and clearly show how that partnership will deliver enormous value to the client’s organisation.

The SC works tirelessly to understand what clients want to achieve and why. They audit current solutions in place; assess business, functional and technical requirements; contribute to the RFI/RFP process; and deliver highly targeted product demonstrations that clearly outperform those of our competitors.

In this role you will...

Clearly demonstrate complex applications to diverse audiences, both in person and virtually
Have a solid understanding of enterprise software and the benefits of the on-demand SaaS model, and of the Unified HCM and Talent Management processes and best practices
Gather business and technical requirements and configure/develop presentations and demonstrations to highlight how and why the Company’s solution would suit the customer better than the competitor’s products or homegrown development
Build customer relations through sales and follow-up calls and product presentations/ demonstrations
Act as the primary solution interface on customer sales calls
Assist sales managers in identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing sales opportunities
Develop and leverage knowledge of industry trends and specific customer current/future architecture in order to position the the Company solution, acting as a trusted advisor
Actively keep abreast of functional and technical issues relative to the solution and industry and provide feedback to R&D and Product Management
Interface and coordinate efforts with team members from our consulting team to demonstrate and develop/configure project plans and proposals. (e.g. RFI & RFP)
A significant amount of travel across EMEA will be expected

You’ve got what it takes if you have...

A strong background in software solutions pre/technical sales experience, successfully supporting sales of high level corporate software/technology solutions at the executive level
Experience of selling HR-related software
A successful track record of exceeding company sales quotas
The ability to multitask and have strong time management skills
The capability to work within teams and coordinate activities involving several participants
The ability to be a self-starter who assumes responsibility, recognises problems, provides well though-out solutions and takes initiatives to fix them
Excellent communication skills and analytical skills and be comfortable in representing software and speaking to operational and technical executives alike
Demonstrated success in building customer relationships
Experience with software automation tools and Microsoft Office
Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
