This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team which is working on cutting edge technologies in Software, Cloud Computing, and AI/ML and building game-changing products for the health/pharma industry in the Pharmacovigilance Artificial Intelligence (PVAI) domain.
Pharmacovigilance, also known as drug safety, is the pharmacological science. PVAI application will allow Pharma companies to create, monitor, and handle cases related to detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse drug reactions. These products will be used by leading Pharma companies in the world, including the Fortune 20.
In this role, you will drive the team towards the design and implementation of PVAI product suite.
This role will;
Design and Architect the PVAI enterprise application. Oversee the implementation of modules by different sub-teams, internal and off-the-shelf products to ensure seamless end-to-end integration, modularity, extensibility, reusability, scalability, testability, and quality of the product. Understand business and functional requirements and ensure that the underlying implementation reflects the current and future needs for the product roadmap Plan and execute code quality improvement initiatives such as code reviews, branching and pull requests, code refactoring, clean-up of old branches, semantic versioning, automated code quality checks, automated unit-testing framework, and automated deployments from version control Write code.
The ideal candidate brings;
Significant depth on the Java stack. Backend and UI frameworks Exceptionally strong fundamentals of Design patterns and Enterprise architectural patterns. Progressive Experience in building highly scalable, high-performance, low latency systems Loves writing complex code and guide junior team developers. Deep understanding of design patterns, NoSQL, Micro-services Architecture Experience in working with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Experience working within a regulated industry will be a plus.
