Supply Chain Project Manager
In this role, you have the opportunity to

Lead the development and coordination of EOL (end of life)/LTB (last time buy) business cases to ensure alignment with engineering replacement road maps, engineering R&D resource allocations, global manufacturing and shipment commitments, and comprehensive analysis of potential supply chain opportunities, risks and financial exposures.

Drive EOL process to support global systems, develops and determines communication process with purchasing leaders, runs the escalation process.

Also be responsible for programs and projects within the Systems supply chain, bridging businesses and markets.

You are responsible for

Chairman of EOL committee
Early involvement with R&D team about potential EOL
Maintain and further develop tracking and management reporting of EOL components, LTB of purchased parts, funnel of potential LTBs driven by future EOL events
Analyze on hand LTB stock coverage, open purchase commitments, stock run out scenarios and other analyses required for early detection of potential supply chain disruptions.
Set up and maintain monitoring systems for company owned LTB production components held at third party warehouses/ at suppliers
Analyze impacts on EOL components and LTB purchased due to global production planning increases or decreases
Perform EOL scenario analysis in terms of LTB stock unbalance (too many or too few)
Provide cost effective solutions for reducing excess and obsolete (E&O) reserves driven by residual LTB stock
Align with Global Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning teams (SIOP) to manage global allocation of LTB components. Support the achievement of inventory targets as determined by BU Business Objectives and Continuous Process Improvement Initiatives
Develop strategies for LTBs to drive cost effective management and achievement of global inventory targets and related process improvement programs
Managing phasing-in / phasing-out of assigned product-types according to the actual NPI (New Product Introduction) Process in close cooperation with all cross functions
Drive supply chain improvement projects to identify improvement opportunities or specific change requirements in terms of cost, responsiveness, on time delivery, technology capabilities/innovation and compliancy
Support periodic Finance E&O provisions analysis and testing as required by Global Operations Controller, including the determination of E&O provisions required for LTB stocks and the final disposition of LTB materials no longer required to support production
Develop additional processes to support Life Cycle Management (LCM)
Initiate and manage programs and projects leading to structural improvements and new capabilities of the supply chain
Managing supply chain programs and projects with multiple work streams from concept development, feasibility study and implementation to closure, according to the PMO standards.

You are a part of

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelor / Master Degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Technical Business Administration.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably in project management, business excellence management or change management
Experience in working with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies (DMAIC)
Experience with SAP R/3 and experience in reporting and data analytics
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Must be able to plan and manage multiple processes and ad hoc projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and own end-to-end responsibilities for project execution
Ability to manage and work with both technical and non-technical team members
Proven ability at engaging and influencing functional leaders and stakeholders
Experience in working in virtual teams within an international supply chain environment
Flexible, willingness to travel
Strategic skills/conceptual thinking, being able to define and execute a strategy
Strong analytical skills
Strong capability in structuring complex topics
Focus on deliverables, result-driven
Excellent communication skills, team player
Fluent in English
