Social Media and Community Manager
Looking for a talented and experienced Social Media Superstar to join our awesome marketing team!
As our Social Media Manager, you will work directly with the marketing team to enhance our brand and grow our vast network of users across social media and within our online communities. You will be responsible for daily posting, responding to followers, creating original text and video content, and managing our company’s online presence to help achieve the company’s marketing and business goals.
Create an effective long-term strategy for each channel and community to drive brand awareness
Own our online presence
Work in coordination with our marketing team to create a successful strategy for thought leadership content and posts
Adapt the company tone and voice into all social media content to ensure brand consistency
Manage campaigns, communities, and day-to-day posting on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube
Community, blogger, and influencer outreach
Grow our brand ambassador network
Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures)
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Create and maintain a social media editorial calendar and posting schedule while meeting KPIs
Develop benchmark metrics to effectively measure and report on the results of social media programs and campaigns
Encourage social advocacy online and within the company
Monitor relevant trends, brands, and industry conversations online
Understand how social media impacts search traffic
3-6 years experience in social media marketing – Must
Experience managing: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube – Must
Hands-on experience in marketing, especially content marketing - Must
Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills – Must
Native English – Must !
Experience developing strategies across social media and digital marketing areas – Must
You have to be a social media power user and have a proven background building a quality online following for a business- Must
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Experience with social media management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite)
BA degree in Marketing, English, Creative Writing or relevant field
Experience in outreach, sales, grassroots, social media, digital PR, buzz building and building sustainable communities
Experience using social media analytics tools and the ability to tweak marketing strategies based on findings
Ability to create cutting-edge social media and digital marketing content
Experience managing website content – Advantage!
Experience with PPC — Advantage!
Experience with creating content for a B2B audience — Advantage!
