Mayanot Israel, a leading provider of Birthright Israel trips, is hiring a Marketing Director to lead our organization’s marketing efforts. You will be responsible for evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building positive awareness and positioning of our brand.
You will work closely with our customer service, “sales” and affiliate support teams to develop a strategy that will help us grow market share and maximize our resources.
To be considered for this position, you need to have proven experience in running a marketing team and marketing campaigns. A college degree in business, marketing or communications is a plus. Experience in the Birthright Israel and/or non-profit world would also be an advantage.
Marketing Director Responsibilities:
Planning, directing, budgeting and coordinating all marketing efforts and communicating with relevant parties Competitor research and analysis Working with “sales department” to determine best practices to maximize market share Oversight of quality control and messaging Responsible for creating and overseeing a positive user experience Developing and managing social media and advertising campaigns and service providers where needed Identifying potential customers and boosting lead generation Overseeing email marketing, including effective segmentation of lists and A/B testing Website development including, analytics, tracking, UTM, A/B testing and more. Upkeep of all of the organization’s websites, landing pages and third-party sales pages. Oversight of video content, graphics, swag, etc for print, online, social media and beyond.
Marketing Director Requirements:
Proven marketing experience Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask Strong copywriting skills Attention to detail Ability to manage budgets Professional and proactive work ethic Great interpersonal, written and oral communication skills Knowledge of MailChimp (or similar) and Optimizely (or similar) Proven social media marketing experience Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Cloud, (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Experience with WordPress and website management Knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools, Analytics, UTMs, SEO Willingness to travel domestically and overseas Knowledge of SalesForce a plus Fluent English, conversational Hebrew Valid Israeli Driving License Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field a plus
