About the position:

We are looking for a Head of QA that will be responsible for the quality assurance of our products both customer and internal facing. You will be reporting to the VP of Engineering and have full authority to clear changes to production. You will also be responsible for managing, growing and training our amazing team of manual and automated QA. You will be expected to lead QA processes, systems and methodologies to ensure the high quality of our products.

You will join and work closely with a team of rock-star engineers, designers, product managers including industry experts. You will work in a fast-paced, agile, and data-driven environment. You will enjoy working in a successful startup as well as in a growing and established business.

We will be counting on you to ensure the quality of complex products and features, solving complicated problems to help drive our vision forward. You will have an end to end ownership on the quality of our production environment. Selling cars online is complicated and interesting. The problems that we are working on test the limits of what is possible with marketing, sales, operations, and data.

As head of QA you will help steer the QA Automation road-map and Architecture, will play a central role in critical processes, and make an immediate impact on the future of our business in collaboration with product management and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Qualify the product for our Customers and employees.
Grow and train the team members on all product’s parts
Define the testing methodology/process
Work with the Product team tightly
Sign off systems and features prior to their release
Be responsible for the Sprint’s timelines
Be 1st level tech support for any issues our team in the US encounters in Production
Manage the QA plan for the team, both manually and automatically.

Required skills and qualifications

3+ Years proven team management's experience of at least 10 QA engineers.
3+ Years experience full end to end ownership of the quality of a successful B2C web product.
3+ Years managing QA automation end to end for a successful web product.
7+ Years experience in software QA.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant field.
Experience ensuring quality of responsive, high performance, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
