Have you ever managed relationships with foreign governments? Do you flourish when connecting foreign government funds with corporate initiatives? Have you been a key player in closing deals in millions of dollars with government entities? Have you worked in Israel’s Embassies, Economic Missions or Consulates abroad?

The Company is looking to hire a candidate who will initiate and promote The Company's projects vis-a-vis government ministries and various public authorities abroad. The ideal candidate must be a diligent, industrious, creative person with the ability to initiate and close business opportunities between government entities and the private sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Seek and work with local and foreign government entities to establish government funds from A to Z. The government entities include Foreign Government Investment Entities, Economic Missions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and current and former Israeli diplomats.
Assist in locating (new and existing) incubator programs financed by foreign governments abroad for the purpose of expanding The Company’s global network of Incubators.
Locate programs (new and existing) sponsored by the Israeli government agencies that offer financing or support to The Company or its portfolio companies. The type of government agencies include the Israel Innovation Authority, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade Administration , Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Jerusalem Development Authority and more.
Meet with the aforementioned entities in order to formulate a recommendation on OC integration in the various programs and build the collaboration.
Prepare and submit various applications to the relevant authorities to get funding through the assistance of other OC departments.
Constant involvement and follow-up throughout the various process until approval is obtained
At least 2 days a week from Jerusalem office

REQUIREMENTS

4 years of practical experience working in or with public institutions such as government ministry or agency - mandatory. Preference will be given to a candidate with experience working with Israeli Embassies and Consulates/MFA diplomats abroad or as an Economic Attaché or in/with the Innovation Authority / Ministry of Economy or the Jerusalem Development Authority.
Familiarity with the work of Israeli diplomats/economic attaches abroad - an advantage
Spoken and written abilities in both Hebrew and English – mandatory. The job will require submitting documents in both Hebrew and English.
