Looking for a Global Trust & Safety Group Manager to manage the Marketplace Integrity department and deal with one of the most interesting fronts of the internet.
The Marketplace Integrity Group is a world-class team of highly skilled content moderation professionals who respond to and moderate issues on the platform in different sites and timezones.
You will ensure consistent and fair enforcement of our standards and policies as well as establish all systems and global team structures necessary to maintain the highest level of trust and protection for our community and reputation. You will lead all strategic and tactical efforts, build and manage teams and own optimization of team performance at scale.
As a Global Trust & Safety Group Manager, you will build strong relationships and solve complicated problems with internal stakeholders; Trust and Safety Policies Manager, Legal, Product, Customer Support and PR. This position reports to the Company’s Head of Trust and Safety Department.
The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, collaborative leader with strong communication skills and the ability to influence others.
Lead, structure and drive execution within the Global Marketplace Integrity department.
Work with product, data and dev teams to create systems, processes, and tools to improve abuse detection and analytics as well as support the growth of the department, tasks and scale of activity.
Lead the Company in finding ways to identify and mitigate unwanted content and behavior on the platform.
Work with internal teams to provide the MI point of view in new features and flows.
Work with external peers to provide content moderation industry’s latest technology trends, applications and best practices.
Act as point of contact for content related crisis escalations that impact the Company’s community and reputation.
Set a clear mission and deploy strategies to measure success including definition and meeting of KPIs.
Financial responsibility and accountability for the Marketplace Integrity budget.
Build, manage, and inspire the global teams to create an innovative and entrepreneurial work environment aligned with the Company's values, company culture and DNA.
Recruit, train and develop MI managers and specialists, and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.
Ensure the safety and wellness of a global team of moderators.
7+ years of leadership specializing in policy enforcement, compliance, risks, customer support or strategy of online communities that create user-generated content.
5+ years of experience managing large multi-functional and global teams of varying levels.
Deeply familiar with controls, technology and best practices for monitoring online content and abuse.
Demonstrated passion for ethics, fairness and consumer protection, with a continuous improvement mentality.
Crisis management experience.
Experience in hiring, mentoring and growing the best talent, and in creating a work environment that ensures their safety and health.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving ability.
Ability to prioritize, multitask and adapt to a fast-moving environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.
Excellent collaborator and enabler with the ability to maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Sound business judgment, strategic and analytical capabilities.
Degree in public policy, law, Industrial engineering or risk management preferred
Ability to travel as needed.
