We are looking to hire an excellent Field Service Engineer to troubleshoot, service, install (deploy) and repair Explosive Detection Systems (EDS), Conventional X-Ray Systems (CXS) or Computed Tomography (CT) baggage and security screening equipment at customer sites.
The role will be part of a team that primarily cover Tel Aviv – Ben Gurion and Ramon Airports.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will cross train on all products serviced in the field, and display proficiency in servicing both the Trace and X-Ray product lines. The requirements are designed to offer stretch and progression while providing exposure to all Engineering and Operational functions within the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction Install, repair and maintain equipment in the field; provide customer training as required Document all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submits paperwork in a timely basis Order, install, and return parts and manages repair parts cycle time Review all logs for open issues and prepares formal reports to customers as necessary Participate in Service sales opportunities and assists with promoting and implementing revenue programs. Establish and maintain a close relationship with senior level FSE’s and Product Managers in order to support the needs of the customer and remain aware of current technical trends Possess a solid level of technical knowledge on the company’s Trace, X-Ray and Computed Tomography (CT) products Travel, overtime and work hours other than Sunday-Thursday may be required. The Individual
You have an associated degree in Electrical, Electronics, Robotics or Electro-Optics Engineering. In addition to that, qualification in Computer Science is a plus Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, field repair or technical support activities centered on Electrical and Mechanical systems and equipment (desirable) Great skills of computer repair and computers networking is an advantage Demonstrate at least intermediate level of technical knowledge on X-Ray and CT or RF products Computer literacy, competency in use of all programs within MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs to provide clear, concise information summaries as required You should have solid oral and written communication skills also in English You could be successful in this role if you are team oriented and flexible, and actively seek to share information and assist his/her peers. Furthermore, you should be proactive, able to work under pressure are willing to learn complex things. For that, self-discipline and curiosity is required.
