Content Team Lead/Editor

You are:

A native English speaker, passionate writer and editor. You have 5+ years of professional writing/editing experience and can quickly create clear, meaningful content. You also have at least 1 year spent as a team lead or manager. You're great at identifying the tone and voice of a brand, and taking ownership of keeping it consistent throughout all materials. You can seamlessly use that tone and voice to write and edit emails, landing pages and scripts.

You’re a mentor and trainer, someone who sees the value in constructive conflict and helping guide others through its resolution. You keep your cool under pressure, work best within tight deadlines and take constructive feedback well. You’re a natural leader, team player, amazing listener and an independent thinker. You ask the right questions to understand the task at hand, and know how to empower and motivate others, while giving them enough freedom to take ownership of their own tasks.

Advantageous (but not a must!) if you have experience working in eCommerce or financial services within the writing/editing context.

As Content Team Lead/Editor, you will:

Manage a small (but growing) team of writers, mentoring and training them in the creation of top-notch content.
Edit content for emails, landing pages, videos and online or offline campaigns — and happily jump in to create creative, clear content yourself.
Examine content across all of our materials and consider ways to optimize it.
Represent the content needs of large scale product launches, from a marketing perspective.
Write & edit copy that meets our brand goals and objectives.
Understand how to apply the Company tone and voice across all material.
Collaborate well with writers, project managers, designers, broadcast and other teams within the company.
