Compliance Associate, Regulatory Research and Development (RRD) - Bilingual
The Compliance Associate, Regulatory Research and Development (RRD) falls under the Advisory function within the Compliance Department and is required to develop a comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and their application to the Firm`s business. The individual works closely with Compliance Management to assist in maintaining the robust Compliance program of the Firm and with internal stakeholders to provide regulatory guidance and to advise on compliant processes.

Primary Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Staying on top of the regulatory environment and expectations
• Analysis of incoming regulations and support implementation
• Administering a number of key compliance responsibilities such as regulatory notifications
• Preparing a bi-weekly regulatory sweep on financial regulations applicable to FXCM Israel
• Preparing MI for Compliance Management
• Supporting the Compliance Advisory (RRD) Assistant Vice President in the continual evaluation and implementation of relevant Compliance policies, procedures and processes
• Drafting of written policies and procedures
• Conducting gap analysis of policies and procedures and assist with the remediation of noted deficiencies
• Handling external requests for information from regulatory bodies/external stakeholders
• Assisting in projects that have regulatory implications and covering Compliance questions by project stakeholders


• Must be eligible to work in Israel
• Hebrew & English at a professional level (written and verbal)
• 1- 3 years of compliance or related legal experience
• Knowledge of the ISA rules and their application as well as AML and Data protection legislation strongly preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of Share Point, Salesforce
• A degree in Law, Finance, Business or related field is a plus
• Attorney licensed to practice law in Israel is a plus
• Demonstrable track record in designing and implementing procedures in a timely, pragmatic and collaborative way
• Ability to work unsupervised in a proactive manner, and prioritize in a fast moving, constantly changing environment
• Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines
• High level of accuracy/attention to detail – quality output
• Maintains and promotes high ethical standards by demonstrating honesty, integrity, professionalism and fair dealing at all times internally and externally, promoting and enhancing the good reputation of the Firm.

Office Location: Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem (Possibility of Working from Home)

Hours: Full time 42.5 hours per week (PLUS 20 vacation days a year and holidays)
